Historically, most of our investors have been self‑made businessmen and women who have built successful companies and who are leaders in their communities. Today, many of our investors are still entrepreneurs and the culture of our firm has been imprinted with an entrepreneurial, operator-focused spirit.
Almost without exception, our clients have been clear that first and foremost they want to protect capital; as a result, we build diversified portfolios across and within asset classes, always keeping downside protection in mind as we structure our funds.
We combine the buying power of our network to access proprietary transactions.
We actively engage our investors in the due diligence process.
We never ask anyone to invest in a transaction unless we invest our own capital, and we never keep a transaction for ourselves to the exclusion of our investors.
